HSP hosts Medical Symposium

The HSP hosted a medical symposium New Approach in the Management of Hepatorenal Syndrome by with Prof. Didier Lebrec, M.D of Clichy, France on October 2, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila. The event was attended by 60 medical professionals who braved the rains and floods brought by typhoon Ineng.

With his great expertise in the field of Hepatology, Prof. Lebrec discussed with much ease the management of hepatorenal syndrome. The presentation which lasted for almost 30 minutes was very well appreciated by the attendees who described it as "a difficult topic presented very simply"  Dr. Judy Lao-Tan who acted as reactor to the lecture, clarified some issues on the dosages of the medicine as well as further management of patients.

Also present during the symposium were HSP Officers and Board of the Directors Dr. Jose D. Sollano, Jr. Dr. Marilyn O. Arguillas and Dr. Ernesto R. Que. Dr. Diana A. Payawal acted as master of ceremonies.
