Welcome to the Hepatology Society of the Philippines website.

The Hepatology Society of the Philippines is formed under the aegis of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology in 2006. This landmark organization, currently composed of gastroenterologists from all over the country with special interest in liver diseases, is recognized by the Philippine Medical Association, the Philippine College of Physicians, and the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver. Our members is consist of medical professionals with special interest in liver diseases and other allied health professionals who have contributed to hepatology research/practice including gastroenterologists, internists, surgeons, radiologists, pediatricians, pathologists, biochemist, anatomists, microbiologists, physiologists, epidemiologists and pharmacologists.

As a new and growing organization, the major key to accomplishing our mission of providing and promoting comprehensive information on liver and liver-related diseases to the public and to the medical community is through a fast and efficient communication. In this era of globalization and rapidly advancing information technology, having a website where the organization, members and the public can interact is a must.

This website therefore becomes a venue by which our members, secretariat, and the public can be closer no matter how far they are situated. As we further improve our website, members can already gain access to the latest news and updates, members directory, obtain information on important concerns like the constitution and by laws of the society, and even guidelines for on how to become a member in a blink of an eye.

As to the public, we share with you our advocacy initiatives where you can gain information straight from the Medical doctors themselves.
